Are these sentences natural? October 19

Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. From the observation point we could see hills covered with trees, in a distance.

2. It was kind of funny watching them tear (at) each other’s clothes. ( is ‘at’ required)

3. They are part of a same data table ( should it be the same table or a same table? The reader doesn’t know about the table).

Thanks,

MG.
