Hi,

Are these sentences natural to a native ear?

1. It smells like a dead rat here.

2. Going forward, they are going to have those games on the Sunday evening.

3. I need this info for my knowledge only and will not be put in print.

Only if both speaker and listener are aware of which Sunday is being spoken of without its being mentioned overtly.

I was talking about all future Sundays. I guess in that case I don't need a 'the'. Is that correct?
