Are these sentences natural? November 4
Hi,
Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?
1. I am sure every one of you has had experienced this when you had / have had to upgrade an application on your machine and you had to wait for someone to come to your desk.
2 I thought I would do something to raise awareness about our poor group.
3. We do not intend to follow our competitors in the south of the country. ( we don’t expect to follow our competitors in other markets)

The first sentence seems very wordy, and I would consider it a run-on sentence.
The other two sentences seem O.K. I only doubt what your intended meaning was by saying "poor"
in the second sentence.
