Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

2. is there a possibility of improvement there?

3. Was that the average for the year or a year-end number?

They all sound natural, except I'd say "Take this pill...."

Thanks John.

Is this variation of #1 acceptable?

1b. Take this pill; it kills a craving for chocolate.

It's OK, but it would be more natural (for me) to say "...it kills the craving...." or "...it kills my craving."
