Are these sentences natural? June 11

Hi,
Are these sentences natural to a native ear?

1. At this point we don't see much use for the product.

2. For some reason he had a horse voice this morning, may be he had a soar throat.

3. While this is news for you, we were expecting something on these lines, given a reduced role of John and an increased role of Jane (I was talking about a change in our department)

Thanks,
MG
