Are these sentences natural? July 10

Hi,

Are these sentences natural to a native ear?

1. If you were not so sure, you should not have shown me those lavish dreams.

2. I like the country life better than the city life.

3. There is no skill in that; John is just being lucky. (commenting on a person who won three consecutive bets)

Thanks,
MG

All three sentences are fine, but I would revise the third one. There is no skill in that; John is just getting lucky. or maybe past tense There was no skill in that; John just got lucky.
