Are these sentences natural? Jan 26

Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. As you might/must have noticed that there are some subtle differences between these two pictures ( could the use of ‘might’ offend a listener?)

2. I am surprised that I am not a scientist. (I am not sure ‘am surprised’ is appropriate here because what I want to convey is that the process of surprising happens regularly in my life)

2. Your partner is out telling people the deal you have/ had cut yourself last summer ( here I am not sure if I should use have or had because even though the deal was cut last summer the deal and its terms continue to exist)

Thanks,
MG.

Actually #2 is a continuation of another sentence.

I sometimes find myself so curious about some things that I spend hours working to figure that thing. I am surprised that I am not a scientist.
