1. I meant if you had a meeting or something ( I asked a person at the end of our meeting if he is going back to his office. He, jokingly, said, “I usually take the Monday afternoon off”. To which I said, “ no, no, I meant if you had another meeting) 2. How come all of a sudden you have a lot of gray hair. ( I said this to a friend, whom I met after a few months) 3. Timing of economic benefits is / are uncertain ( here, there are multiple benefits and they are likely to occur at different points in time)
