Are these sentences natural? Jan 12

Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. So far we are four for four, lets hope this continues in the future.

2. In that case, I would be in a dilemma of who to cheer for.

3. Charlie and his friends had done this often enough and had had enough success ( This sentence is from a book. I am trying to understand why the author chose two ‘had’, when one ‘had’ would have worked equally well. )

Thanks,
MG.

3. Charlie and his friends had done this often enough and had had enough success-- The 2nd 'had' is optional; perhaps s/he used it for emphasis.
