Are these sentences natural? December 21

Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. I have seen the boss our floor more this year than I have seen him ever before ( I wanted to say that our boss visited our floor this year far too often than in the past)

2. Last week I had gone over to one my friends’ for dinner, and I saw that her kid was eating a lot of chocolates.

3. We are kind of winding down for Christmas time. (Is an article required before 'Christmas time'?)

Thanks,

MG.
