Are these sentences natural? April 23

Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. The problem is mainly to do with scale and timing. OR The problem has mainly to do with scale and timing. (which one is more accurate?)

2. Were any more people added to the pool of potential candidates?

3. How is it outside? ( I said this to a colleague to find out about the weather)

Thanks,
MG
