Are these sentences natural? April 19

Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. Are you tax compliant or the tax rules simply don’t apply to you? (I am not sure how I should word the second question)

2. Is there a regulation in any state that avoids a store from selling products for a particular class of people?

3. I try to catch up on my sleep on the bus.

Thanks,
MG
