Are these sentences grammatically ok?

According to Thomas Hobbes man when not under pressure from some higher power than him, is inherently distrustful and afraid of others. This distrust is also strengthen by an aggression resulting from his nature. He believes that all people are guided by the same desire to harm others. This desire may ensue from different features and motivations such as false estimation of their potency, the need to defend their property or liberty, pride, desire of power, rivalry and suspicion. Conforming to Hobbes, man in the natural state is precisely characterized by all the above features.

Hobbes is convinced that apprehension about ignorance of reasons, which has always accompanied man, entails finding some idea, which would clarify those reasons. In this way, man creates a vague power, or an invisible factor. Situation is different to the one Eternal ***.
