Are these sentences grammatically correct?

The supplier’s statement below is not correct. We checked the external damage of the carton received, but we did not find any. We noticed that all pool table accessories were packed separately in a thin polythene cover and put them in a carton and shipped. We don't know how come the pool table felt was stained which was kept inside box.

The damage must have occurred either at their end or courrier side. It seems that they might have not noticed this damage and sent it to us as is.
