Are these sentences grammatically correct?

The size of the flanges received do not fit the stainless steel duct supplied. The outside diameter of flanges should be 250mm in order to fix onto the SS flanged duct.

The flanges received do not fit the stainless steel duct supplied. We require flanges with 250mm outside diameter; otherwise it will not fit onto the SS flanges duct.
