Are these sentences grammatically correct?

Attached are the images of packaging boxes of the items received in damaged condition. There was no external damage to the boxes but the inner packing condition was very poor. The damage was caused by inappropriate packing. These items ought to be packed in a strong carton boxes with proper filling material but they packed in thin cartons without enough filling materials.
