Are these sentences grammatically correct?

I could recall the mail which I forwarded to MD and copied to them, but not cc to you because the recall was not allowed in your mail system. So please discard the earlier mail forwarded and maintain the second mail and its attachments for your reference and records.

I'm not sure of the situation, exactly, but it looks like this would be understood by the person to whom you are sending it. I think that keep is probably a more appropriate word than maintain (the second mail).

It's incorrect to speak of 'a mail'.
Say 'an email'.
