Are These Sentences Gramatically Correct? How about the flow?

I failed part 1 of the second test. It has been three months since I took the test. I would like to take the test again.

First, can you think of a way to avoid repeating the words 'test' and 'took/take'?



Second, can you join all or some of these sentences together?

I restructure the sentence and use a semi-colon instead of a comma.

Now, I was trying to find a way to rephrase the last sentence, to they have the same tense. However, I find it a bit difficult.
