Are these sentences correctly written?

Hi there, Are these sentences correctly written? Do I need a "s" on "come?" Do I need a "s" or "d" on "require?" Does the word "professor" need to be capitalized? Thanks

I will ship it out by noon Saturday. So it can get to you before your term start.

My Professor required/s the 10th edition book not the 11th edition.

No. The first example cannot stand as two sentences, but should be linked be a comma and the coordinating conjunction "so." ...before your term starts.
