Are these sentences correctly worded?

The colossal explosion completely obliterated the city of Losarcum along with all of its inhabitants. Only Cathan and his fellow knight Tithian managed to escape from the catastrophe with the help of Leciane, but she herself died from an arrow wound after saving the two warriors.
