Are these sentences correctly worded?

FYI- Umberlee is the Queen, and Evendur is the undead pirate and the Chosen. Umberlee was infuriated that Turmish had been saved, and in her rage, she nearly destroyed Evendur. However, the undead pirate managed to convince Umberlee to allow him to gather the forces that served the sea goddess and lead them against Sapra. The Queen of the Depths wanted her Chosen to first slaughter the people of Sapra and then all of Turmish.

cboutin3 Chosen to first slaughter the people of Sapra and then all of Turmish. My suggestion: to slaughter first the people of Sapra and then all of Turmish. It fits guidelines for parallel structure a little better.
