Are these sentences correctly worded?

FYI- Silvanoshei is the elven king, and Takhisis is the goddess and Dark Queen. Mina would have allowed her beloved goddess to slay her, but Silvanoshei, who was still in love with her, threw a broken dragonlance at Takhisis, impaling and killing the Dark Queen. Infuriated by Silvanoshei’s act, Mina seized Takhisis’s sword and killed the elven king.
