are these sentences correct and make sense?

A. He has made a progress since March. Does it mean he is still making a progress or this progress was made from March until now?
B. I have started painting since January. Does it mean it has bee a period of January to until now.
c. I have painted the wall since January.

Please explain the meaning whether it sounds good or bad.
