1: I called him at 6pm because I thought he would’ve got home by then.

2: I called him at 6pm because I hoped he would’ve got home by then.
3: I called him at 6pm because I believed he would’ve got home by then.
4: I called him at 6pm because I imagined he would’ve got home by then.
5: I called him at 6pm because I presumed he would’ve got home by then.
6: I called him at 6pm because I guessed he would’ve got home by then.
