Are these sentences correct?

1. Is such a word order acceptable?
"At night I couldn't sleep sometimes because of the noise."

2. We'd have more chances (or opportunities, or both are correct?) to learn something new.

3." It could help ones like me." Is it correct to say "ones like me"?

4. "I couldn't do anything except for cleaning up the bath" - I'm not sure about correctness of "except for" in this sentence

5." I hope my e-mail gave you some concept about your flats." is "concept" ok or should I rather use "idea"?

That's okay, or you could say,
Some nights I couldn't sleep because of the noise.

For #2, either "chances" or "opportunities" works.

For #3, "ones" is okay, but consider using "people" instead.
