I am writing a text about my PE classes and I would like to know if the following sentences are correct:

"Their main advantage is that everybody gets to exercise, which prevents people who don't do sports very often from becoming sedentary."

"Usually, we only play soccer, handball, volleyball and basketball, which makes the classes repetitive after some time and prevents me from looking forward to them."

The singular 'makes' is fine. The antecedent of 'which' is the preceding clause, not the sports.

Look at it this way.

"Usually, we only play soccer, handball, volleyball and basketball. That makes the classes repetitive after some time and prevents me from looking forward to them."

The fact that we play only four sports makes the classes seem boring.

In the which-clause, which refers to the statement (sentence) about only playing 4 sports.
A reference to a statement is treated as a reference to a singular antecedent.

Are these sentences correct?
