Are these sentences correct?
A. If I had gone to Jack's birthday party, I would be lying on bed now. Is it possible to use 'if I went to Jack's birthday party' here??
B. Jack is going with his friend,Alex Jack's home. Now they are entering the building where Jack lives. Jack lives on sixth floor and there is no elevator. Alex says,"it would be nice, if the elevator were available;we wouldn't have to climb so many ladders. Here the use of would is correct or not???
