Are these sentences correct?

1. The foods on the table seem to be really delicious.

2. The foods we ate last night were fantastic.

3. Let's try some other juices.

4. He has few white hairs.

I'm really confused about uncountable nouns.
I see some books adding an "s" at the end of some uncountable nouns.
They don't explain why.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Not sure if you are a native English speaker or not, but I am, and these are not easy to tell sometimes - so don't feel bad for being confused! It depends on the context. e.

It depends on the context. If the "food" is special in some way - i.e. a tasting of different types of "foods", different ethnic cuisines, etc., then the "s" makes sense. In most situations, "food" is a plural without an s. Usage of "foods" is

foods rarely occurs in comparison with food, which is much more frequently used. When in doubt, use food. The same is true for juice and juices.

a few white hairs is fine, however. hair usually refers to all the hair on one's head.
