The imperial cavalry easily defeated the nomad army, and the plainsmen who were not slain scattered throughout the Eastern Hundred. Along with Egrin, the leader of the hordes was revealed to be Pagas, who ordered his soldiers to pursue the defeated nomads. Pagas informed Tol that more landed hordes were mustering in the Eastern Hundred and that they would all follow the exiled warlord.
