Are these past perfect sentences grammatically correct?

I have some tasks and I have to give some examples of past perfect sentences with their functions. Please check sentences bellow and their functions and let me know if those are grammatically correct or something that native speakers can accept.

1. Something finished in the past without a specific time

I had lived in Tokyo for two years

I had gone to Bali with my friends

We had not played tennis before


2. Completed Action Before Something in the Past

He had studied English before he moved to London

The mountain had erupted when the rescue team came

I knew Istanbul so well because I had visited it in 2001

Had you ever heard of Amy Winehouse before she died?


3. Duration before something in the past

I had had that phone for two years before it broke

We felt sad to split up because we had been together since we were teenagers

She cried about selling her house because she had owned it for twenty years


4. conditional sentences 3

You would have passed the exam if you had studied before

They would have believed to you if you hadn't lied to them before

If my mother had come that night, then the party would has been a total mess
