Are these our books?
Hi could you help me answer the following question? Thank you
John: Are these our books?
Mary: Yes, they are our books.
My question is that when Mary said that they are our books, Our includes Mary and John. So Mary can’t say “ they are your books” becuase your means Jonly only . I am a little bit confused about it. Is my explanation correct?
