Are these lines grammatical correct?

Sorry for bothering you (I have been asking this question for the 3rd time alreadyEmotion: sad). This is my 1st time on this site. I just need some help with 2 lines from my poem. Are these lines grammatical correct?

1)

With this pen and this paper,

I keep them preserved here forever.

2)

But my body is in the nocturnal state,

Energized with brightness and curiosity.

Thank you! Emotion: smile

I see no grammatical problem. The first couplet scans, but the second one doesn't. The idea of the second couplet is a bit elusive.
