Are these instructions correct?

Hi! I am writing a document to install a project to a computer. Are these instructions sentence correct?

1- You should install the project to computer which is in the A&B network.
2- At first, create a directory for installation. In this document "X" letter will represent installation path.
3- Go to \\10.0.2.2\example address and copy all of the directories from there to your installation directory.
4- Go to X\example\example directory then run example.exe and install it.
5- Go to X\example\example\example directory then run example2.reg.
6- Open X\example\example\asdas.txt file and change "language = en" line to "language = tr" and save it.
7- Go to X\example\bin and run startup.bat to start server. if you want to stop the server just run shutdown.bat which is in the same place with startup.bat.
8- Now you can reach application from localhost:9090/example

Hi, I think they are OK, but these are instructions for people who know how to run .bat files, right? If these instructions were for my mother, they would have to be much more detailed!

As a matter of fact, I have not been waiting for any answer for this question, I had just tried my luck so thank you so much mrBen for your answer. Yes, actually my audiences know the project and using computer well too and I only wanted to show them how they can start the project. As you said everything is fine because I sent these instructions to my audience and I have never got any bad feedbac

It sounds odd to install a project.

We normally install an application or install some software.

Yes, I think you are right. I think we can say "deploy a project" or "run a project".

Your intended meaning is not clear to me...

What do you mean by 'a project'? If you just mean a piece of software, first you load it and then you run it.

Ok I will try to be more clear. The project is a dynamic web project. First you must deploy it to a web server and then you can start the server to serve the project.

I see.

Then those verbs sound OK.
