Are these ideas clearly stated?

Please, tell me:

I am speaking about explaining to the students what they are expected to do in an exercise. So, I've written:

One of the most efficient ways, if not the best, to demonstrate the necessary strategies is to provide the students with a model. We have done so mainly in two different fashions:

(1) We can ask the students to listen to us and then follow suit.

a. Teacher reads out the instructions.

b. Teachers solves the 1st item of the activity.

c. Student 1 repeats the utterance.

And if necessary,

d. Teacher solves the 2nd item of the activity.

e. Student 2 repeats the utterance.

(2) We can perform various roles.

a. Teacher reads out the instructions.

b. Teachers solves the 1st item of the activity.

c. Teacher repeats the utterance as if he/she were a student.

Thank you in advance,

María del Carmen

1.-By utterance I want to say that the students repeats what the teacher has just said. I wait for your suggestion.

Thanks a lot.

In (2)c, you want the teacher to do the same as he did in (2)a? Why?
