Are these good questions and answers for the text?

Hi teachers,
This is for a listening comprehension exercise. The text is from a CD. (The Elephant Man)
Context:
I did not want Merrick to live by himself, like a man in a lighthouse. He read his books, and talked to me, but I wanted him to talk to more people. And I wanted him to talk to women.

Assuming that we know that ‘I’ is the doctor and 'he' is 'Merrick', would the following be suitable questions and answers?
1. Did the doctor wish Merrick to live alone? No, he didn’t.
2. How do you know? Because the doctor said (that) he hadn’t wanted Merrick to live by himself.
3. What else did the doctor wish Merrick to do besides his readings and talkings to him?
He wanted Merrick to talk to more people and to women.

Thanks in advance.
