Faros and his companions made an excursion to the ogre mining camp, where they only managed to burn down a hut before they were forced to leave. Another raid yielded supplies and a number of freed slaves, and a third raid overtook the camp completely, with all of the liberated prisoners deciding to follow Faros. During the fight against the ogre guards of the camp, Faros had engaged Sahd and killed the brutal taskmaster following a fierce duel.
