are these correct?

Hi,

I have two uncountable nouns, which are 'nature' and 'communication', and want to ask you if I could put two adjectives and the word 'both' in front of them.

both rich and poor nature

both best and worst communication

How about this third one?

both sad and happy life

Thank you.

Hi Believer When you ask questions, please give us more than just a few words. Write full sentences and if possible, take your examples from texts written by native speakers . I can't imagine situations in which a native speaker might use your expressions.

  • Perhaps such situations exist, perhaps not.
  • Before you give us more context, I can just say that both rich and poor nature is grammatical, but as there is only one nature I really can't envisage a sentence where it could be used.
