Are these commas supposed to be here?

Do the commas belong in the sentences below and why?

Gallons of hot water flow through our pools, naturally changing the water at an impressive rate of six times daily.

Explore our distinctive caves where hot mineral water surfaces from the earth, creating a natural steam bath.

Thanks, Tara

May have to wait for a punctuationist (hehe...I made it up) to confirm.

I'm no expert either. Well, I'm not even a native speaker, but I'm convinced that the commas are perfectly right, and necessary. They indicate the pause one makes when speaking. I also think they're necessary because they're connecting two sentences:

Gallons of hot water flow through our pools. The gallons naturally change the water at an impressive rate of six times daily.
