Are these all good sentences?

- You are here fast.
- How come you are here so quick?

Are these two sentences good? And what's the difference between 'fast' and 'quick' here?

Top answer

It's more natural to use "got here": You got here fast/quick/quickly. How come you got here so fast/quick/quickly? As far as "fast/quick/quickly" is concerned, there is no difference in the meaning that would be understood, but in careful English "quickly" is more proper than "quick".
