Are these 2 sentences correct?

Which word is correct? Are both correct and mean the same thing?

Every kid playing basketball in high school should be made/forced to watch this movie.

Talking about a nice view from your balcony , living on the ground floor as opposed to high up

Is this natural?

I’d rather have a not so nice view and for it to be safe for my kids than a beautiful view and for it to be dangerous for them.

Thank you
