Are there any mistakes in this paragraph?

I'm a shoemaker and I make shoes for a living. One day I left a piece of leather on the table. The day after I found a very pretty pair of shoes. Those pair of shoes were soon bought by a wealthy man. With the money I earned, I went to buy more leather. When I returned home I put the leather on the table and went to sleep. The following day I found two amazing pairs of shoes sitting on the table. The same day I sold both pairs of shoes for a very good price. As usual I went back to the shop to buy more leather. Once home I placed the leather on the table and went to bed. Next morning I found a pile of shoes on the table. I sold every single pair of shoes that day. At last one night I decided to hide in the closet in my workshop as I was determined to find out who was making them. After midnight I heard the flower pot falling on the floor. When I pushed the door to have a sneak peek I saw three elves sewing shoes. When the elves were done and left, I ran to my wife to tell her everything. At midnight when the elves arrived at the workshop, they found a feast which we prepare for them to thank them. The following day we saw a pile of shiny shoes instead of seeing the food we had left on the table the day before. After that day the elves never returned again. We were able to get by with all the money we had earned for the rest of their lives.
