In history the culture and traditions of a people are established . It is from the past that we find out not only mistakes of our ancestors, but also cultural values that can illustrate significant events: monuments and sculptures that have their own purpose. some monuments are designed to show the strength of a person who is ready to do anything for the sake of his homeland. Some were dedicated to memorable events. There are many monuments and statues in Moscow that symbolize great people and events. I want to tell you a little about the famous monument to Zhukov in the center of Moscow. This is one of my favorite sculptures because he was a Hero of the Soviet Union. It was erected on Manezhnaya Square on May Vyacheslav Klykov to mark the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II. However, there were many critical opinions about this, but the sculptor of this sculpture was confident that he did an excellent job of his work. Zhukov sits on his horse next to the 1995 by Moscow Kremlin, protecting it from the enemy. It looks like he is going to destroy the enemy and protect the Motherland, so historians praise the work of Vyacheslav Klykov. The area where this monument stands is very good. There are some museums and restaurants nearby, so many people like to be there for comfort. I like this place, and when I am in Moscow, the first thing I do is go to Red Square and the monument to Zhukov, because I value my ancestors.
