Are there any errors in this paragraph?

Its a paragraph from my fictional story:
It was 7:45 am in the morning when life was just starting to get better. The foggy yet perfect weather made my day.
Looking out of the window, taking a sip by sip of the not chocolate, a waitress came up to my table with the receipt.

Top answer

" and "in the morning" They mean the same thing. " 3) I was looking out of the window, drinking hot chocolate, sip by sip, when a waitress came up to my table with the receipt. 4) Is the waitress bringing a "receipt" or a "bill"?
