Are the two sentences equivalent?

Hello Emotion: smile
Please consider the two sentences below; please note that this question is not meant to be a Theology question, it is strictly meant to be an English question:

Sentence 1: "I will obtain whatever the request I make to God"
Sentence 2: "God will grant me everything that I request of Him"

Are the above two sentences equivalent to each other?

Thank you for your help,

Thank you for your input:

sentence 1: "I will obtain whatever the request that I make to ***."
sentence 2: "*** will grant everything that I request of Him."

Are the two sentences above equivalent to each other?

1 would be grammatical as: "I will obtain whatever is in the request I make to ***." In this form, 1 and 2 are approximately equivalent in meaning.

I will revise my sentence 1 slightly:

sentence 1: "I will obtain whatever I request of ***."
sentence 2: "*** will grant everything that I request of Him."

Are the sentence 1 and the sentence 2 equivalent ?

Thanks again

Not equivalent. Sentence 1 does not specifically declare that '***' will be the cause of your obtaining everything you request of him.

Hi,

How can I change the sentence 2 ("*** will grant me everything that I request of Him.") into a different equivalent sentence that uses the word "obtain"? Will the sentence "By the grace of ***, I will obtain whatever I request of ***" do the trick?

Thank you for your help!
