Are the sentences ok? could you check them, please

Theresa May, the first female British Prime Minister since Margaret Thatcher, made a mistake during her Tuesday speech in Wales. Head of the British Government said that the UK was ready to lead a world struggle against tourism. But we all understand that it just was the slip of the tongue.

I wouldn't refer to her 'Tuesday speech' but her 'speech on Tuesday'. Use 'The' at the start of the second sentence. '

I wouldn't refer to her 'Tuesday speech' but her 'speech on Tuesday'.

Use 'The' at the start of the second sentence.

Starting sentences with 'But...' is often frowned upon but I think you can get away with it; it's more formally done with 'However, ...'
