Are the sentences interchangeble?

Who sent you here? Who has sent you here? I know that the first has Past simple in the structure, while the second one has the Present Perfect in its structure, but what's the big difference if there is one?

In most contexts there is no real difference. But if the act of sending happened eg 30 years ago instead of 30 minutes ago, Present Perfect is not appropriate because there is no real impact on the present situation. Clive
