Are the following sentences okay?

I got my house damaged in the storm.

I had my house damaged in the storm.

I normally would just use the syntax I got/had A + V-pp when I can control the situation or if in some way I am responsible for the event.

e.g.

I got my wallet stolen.

I had my arm broken.

In the first two sentences. I can't control the storm so I wouldn't use got/had A + V-pp.

Do native speakers normally express those concepts that way?
