Are the explanations natural?

Hi teachers,
A prepositional phrase consists of a preposition followed by a noun or a pronoun. The noun can be a proper noun or a common noun. The common noun can have an article and an adjective(s) before it.

My questions:
a) Is there an explanation for "the noun can be a proper noun"? I mean is it correct to say "The noun is possible to be a proper noun"? Is it natural?
b) Is there an explanation for "the noun can have an article"? I mean is it correct to say "The noun is possible to have a proper noun"? Is it natural?

Thanks.
