Are the brackets necessary and which word to use??

Could you help me with the brackets and which word to use?
  • She wants to have the same life there here.
  • If there are people with the same name and last name, we'll identify you through you mothers maiden name.
  • I don't know where the street leads (to)
  • He ran (through) the light.
  • You listening to your dad because you're scared and not listening to your mom isn't fair on her.
  • Why aren't you with him the way you were when he was younger; generous, comassionate, nice, giving. (can you say "WHY ARENT YOU WITH HIM THE WAY")
  • The more secure we make people's identification and passports, meaning taking peoples fingerprints and having biometric data, the longer the process of making and applying for a passport will take. (How would you say this? I think one would understand the gist of what I'm trying to say?)
Thank you
