Are ‘statements’ and ‘are anchored; correctly used in the following sentence?

Are ‘statements’ and ‘are anchored; correctly used in the following sentence? I hope you can help me. Thank you.


According to critics, the objectives of our gift-giving activity, which we wrote ourselves, must be revised into statements that have bearing on people’s emotions/feelings/sentiments and are anchored on the values that our organization promotes.

All good, but note: 'anchored in' is much more commonly used than 'anchored on'. I'd change it to 'in'. CJ
